The Supervisor of Care (SC) position is responsible for monitoring their office by reviewing employment reports, employee files, consumer files, payroll reports, new employee paperwork, new consumer paperwork, petty cash, and End-of-Day reports. The SC must be able to identify problems within these reports and engage in independent problem-solving to determine and implement corrective action.
The SC will also hire, train and terminate (when necessary) employees in a timely manner. The SC will accurately evaluate their employees, and provide their employees the knowledge and tools through counseling and mentoring to be successful in their positions.
This is a salaried position offering health care benefits, paid vacation time, paid sick days, and mileage reimbursement.
County Homemakers provides care to consumers 24/7, the SC is required to be on call in rotation with other office staff with the possibility of covering shifts on weekends. The SC will report to the Assistant Zone Coordinator (AZC) and Zone Coordinator (ZC).
This position requires to the ability to multitask, learn quickly, be a team player, and be able to supervise and manage subordinates.
