BASIC PURPOSE:
Positions in this job family are assigned responsibilities for performing confidential secretarial duties for an agency official or administrator.


Essential Functions
:

Provides clerical and administrative support to the Principals and teaching staff. Maintains student attendance. Performs general office duties, answer and transfer calls, relay messages, filing, typing memos and letters as needed, manage phone and PA systems, log in visitors on campus. Must maintain transportation records for bus drivers.

Applicant must be willing to perform all job related travel.

Probationary period (or trial period if applicable) is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Wengage, Excel and Google Drive Documents.

LEVEL DESCRIPTORS

Level I:

At this level employees perform confidential secretarial duties for a first-level manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Level I:

Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of two years of clerical office work or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

SELECTIVE QUALIFICATIONS

The Department of Rehabilitation has been authorized to utilize a Selective Qualification when interviewing applicants for this position.

1 year experience with SIS-Student Information Systems.
