How You’ll Make a Difference:
Responsible for customer service needs of laboratory clients following client service procedures. Duties and responsibilities extend to external laboratory clients and caregivers/associates throughout Aurora and Advocate Health Care Systems.
Coordinates and follows through on inbound telephone calls for the laboratory, following client services procedures.
Performs outbound telephone calls to clients following client service procedures.
Ensures rapid and appropriate complaint resolution and documentation.
Maintains a working knowledge of all laboratory operations and databases of ACL, including telecommunications and all methods of reporting data.
Coordinates blood draw requests and specimen pickups with the phlebotomy and courier departments.
Assists Business Development and Client Service teams with maintenance of existing accounts.
Assists with the development and maintenance of Client Service policies and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent communication skills.Basic computer skills including experience using computer software applications.Keyboarding and typing skills.Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under general supervision.Demonstrated customer service skills to interface effectively with physicians, patients, visitors, and other healthcare employees.
