About The Opportunity

Fast growing retail company is hiring a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their financial and accounting operations. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will participate in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating model and operational execution within the company. As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) you will develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.

Job Description

  • Lead strategy and execution across all financial functions including Accounting, FP&A, IR, Treasury, Tax and Strategic Planning
  • Develop and guide our financial leaders, including our current Sr. Director of FP&A and Controller, while continuing to build a world-class Finance organization
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners that support the finance infrastructure
  • Team Leadership: Develop clear accountability metrics and hold teams accountable for performance; balance enterprise and executive team leadership with team management
  • Assess the Business Model: In partnership with the COO, evaluate what is working well and what is under-performing, ensuring optimized financial health of the organization


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business; Master’s Degree preferred
  • 10+ years experience of supervisory experience in accounting/finance
  • 10+ years of not-for-profit experience
  • CPA designation preferred
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong accounting skills with attention to accuracy
  • Experience with a Corporate Performance Management system such as DataRails, Adaptive Insights or Host Analytics
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and projects
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft Office and current financial and account applications; Fund EZ, QuickBooks, Tax reporting software, and spreadsheet programs
  • Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational and written skills
