The Analyst, Directory Services & Federation is responsible for operational and project delivery within the Identity Management team. This is a technical analyst position, with expectations to have or grow into a detailed understanding of the broad array of tools and processes employed by Identity and Access Management services. The scope includes the activities required to support various directory structures, identity governance, privileged access management, remote access, multi-factor authentication, and key management, across on-prem and cloud environments. The Analyst will work with other team members with similar responsibilities and engage with customers of these services to deliver efficient identity solutions.

Responsibilities May Include

  • Supporting the security environment for Identity management. Key tools currently include:

o Active Directory and Domain controllers

o Okta Federation

o CyberArk / Password Vault

o Saviynt Identity Governance & Administration

o KeyFactor Certificate Authority

o RSA Security Tools

  • Collaborating on and building new security constructs to support cloud DevOps environment
  • Designing federated solutions across multiple directory services for intranet and extranet environments
  • Proactive monitoring, and improving the health and reliability of the environment
  • Establishing disaster recovery and business continuity plans and participating in drills
  • Ensuring compliance with information security policy
  • Creating and maintaining group policy (GPOs)
  • Administering virtual servers and cloud services
  • Creating and updating technical documentation
  • Responding to security investigations and incidents
  • Providing 24×7 on call support on a rotational basis



  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2 or more years of IT experience


  • Bachelor?s degree from an accredited institution
  • Demonstrated aptitude for technical service delivery
  • Architecture and operational knowledge of key tools, including Active Directory, Okta, CyberArk?s Password Vault, RSA Security, Saviynt
  • Development experience using .NET or PowerShell
  • Strong Active Directory and Directory Services knowledge including LDAP
  • Basic understanding of Networks and Firewalls
  • Knowledge of Public Key Cryptography Standards
  • Knowledge of authorization and access management solutions including Kerberos, SAML, NTLM, and oAuth
  • Understanding of cloud security models, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS environment knowledge
  • Knowledge of Role Based Access Controls
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly recognize, isolate, and resolve technical problems
  • Ability to multi-task, provide guidance in a team environment, and support internal and external customers
  • Ability to work through issues in a calm and organized manner
